Doing the Right Thing?

A nice Saturday evening... we were going to go shopping all 4 of us, but then decided it'd probably be quicker for Erk to go with one of the boys. Let's just say hitting a bunch of shops and being on my feet? I won't be the quickest companion and my waddle is more and more prominent! And now that it's getting later in the evening, this plan will work out much better. Erk told the boys he was only going to take one of them and the other had to stay home with Mommy. So he explained a coin toss (Jack was heads and Mikie was tails) and Jack said before Erk even tossed it, "make it heads Dad!" Uhh, it was tails. Jack started crying is tired little eyes out (note - he was much in need of a nap today but decided he wouldn't sleep :). So I started to say some things we can do at home, but he wasn't interested. Then Erk says "you can watch home videos with Mommy..." where Mikie pipes in and says "I'll stay home with Mommy and watch home videos!" Yep, he helped his big bro out big time... Now I know Mikie likes home videos and they are fun to watch, but I think he was doing what he thought was right :) Either way, I love some good one on one time with either of the boys and Mikie and I'll enjoy our evening...
