Domino Effect

So… I totally overdid it yesterday. I should have listened when my lower back was screaming at me to STOP! Once all of the family cleared out last night (thanks to all who came – we missed you Grandma and Grandpa but totally understand) the boys went to bed and I wasn’t too far behind. In the middle of the night when I got up to go to the bathroom, I couldn’t walk. I was in so much pain! My siadic (sp?) nerve was shooting pain up and down and I felt like I needed a walker or cane to get me to the bathroom 10 feet away. I happened to look at the clock when I got up and it took me 4 minutes to get to the bathroom and back! Man oh man, that was NOT cool. Fortunately I only had to “go” once in the night and then at 6:45am this morning I got up again and it was somewhat better, but I did cuss the whole way to and from the bathroom :) YIKES, if you’ve never had that pain, you probably think I’m a big wuss, but if you have? Ya know what I’m sayin!

Anyways, I had to call and cancel park plans we had for the morning but that was a wise move. I’m not even sure I could get in the truck right now if I had to. We’ll just take it easy (the boys are watching Toy Story 2, they got it last night) and see how the day wears on. Papa is on hold (thanks Dad!) to come get the boys if I need some assistance, but so far so good. I need to just stop going all the time and RELAX!
