Free Reign

The boys and I headed out this morning to get some gear for their combined birthday party on Wednesday night. I debated going today or tomorrow but we just went for it. We ran to Target and found just what we had in mind, a 'Cars' plastic table cloth, some plates and napkins and I got the boys cute matching shirts to wear. Once we got home, they both played like champs running around the house and riding bikes. It's beaking HOT out there again! I can honestly say, I did get hot today :) I sat on the porch in the shade and just took it all in. We then came on in for naps and little did I know that after I had put them in bed and I myself conked out immediately, they had another thing in mind. I woke up to the sound of something downstairs (after about 15 minutes of us all laying down) and assumed it was Jack. He knows better than to come downstairs while I'm sleeping, so I was a bit surprised, but even more surprised when I peeked in their room and both beds were empty. "BOYS! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" Up the steps they came, Jack apologizing before he was even 1/2 way up. So they got a talkin' to and were told no playing today, it's naptime. Sheesh, not that I don't trust them, but I'm not cool with them taking free reign of the house if I'm asleep. So since our little talk, I haven't heard a peep. Let's hope that means they are both out...

Holy cow is baby girl going to town right now! She slept SO good last night that the only thing that kept me awake was getting up to pee 5 times in the night. At times I was getting concerned cause that's her usual awake time, but then I'd lay there and pray and she'd move. The Lord knows a mommas heart :)
