A Bit Neglected

Whew – a busy couple of days! Ya forget how quickly the time flies when ya have a baby :) Especially when every 3 hours you are feeding her, changing her, attempting to keep her awake during the day, etc… and all the other stuff that comes with being a mom. So the blog gets a bit neglected :)

We have had a nice couple of days – the boys have been so good and lovin’ their baby sister. We’ve established her “fussy” time at night and that comes with her nighttime feeding where she’ll cry her little eyes out for a bit and then finally give in. She’s doing it right now! It’s hard to hear her cryin’ at first, but ya do get used to it. My mom is here with me tonight and she was last night too so that’s been great (Erk is outta town for work until tomorrow night). The extra help and support and love is wonderful :) The kids and I spent some time at mom and dad’s yesterday and ended up there today too. It was helpful come naptime when I lay down with Mikie and put Molly in the pac-n-play right in the same room – Jack opted to not nap but Papa and him visited upstairs. Then when Mikie got up, I could keep on sleeping cause I knew I wasn’t the only one in the house! Weird though, a bit after Mikie got up he puked!? Not sure where that came from but he was burning up and told me “Papa said he was gonna pull my arm off” whaaaa. Funny kid… Then he kinda spit funny and I quickly took him in the bathroom where he puked. Huh… He skipped dinner time and just laid on the couch – he’s been crying on and off the poor little soul. I’m hoping he’ll get feeling better my little man. Hate to see him feeling this way.

Well, I’d better go check on Mol and bless mom’s heart, she’s helping with folding the laundry right now! Hope you’ve had a nice weekend – more later :)
