Erk is outside blowing leaves around - what a job! He waited this year until our trees were pretty much empty and boy, what a big job... He's using his dad's lawn tractor too which helps, but still, every other row of back and forth he has to empty the bag. The boys went with him this morning to get the tractor and they played outside pretty much all morning - Mol has been doing her usual routine (ohh and not to be outta control braggin' mom, but I have to tell ya, she slept 10 hours last night! YIPEE fricking SKIPPY!) and our neighbor from across the street called and stopped over. She had a baby gift she said for weeks sitting there and wanted to bring it by. See, where we are, it isn't as simple as walking across the street - it's more like "drive on over." So she did and we had a nice visit, she's a sweet lady - her and her hubby are now empty nesters with both kids in college. She thought Molly was pretty cute and she got her some adorable jammies. Then off she headed and both boys went up for naps. I heard them screwing around a few minutes ago so I had to go up and lay down the law. Now it's silent - I told them they both needed to take a good nap today in order to go to Molly's volleyball game tonight - I'm guessing Erk won't be done with the huge chore of leaves and he needs to return the tractor tonight, so I'll take all 3 kiddos and pick up my mom on the way. It'll be fun, great to see Molly and hopefully I'll get some pics after the game to share with ya'll.
This afternoon will be the last time we get to see Molly play volleyball :( Hard to believe her college years have gone by SO fast. She's an outstanding player, been recognized on many levels for her accomplishments. Way to go Mol! Looking forward to seeing you guys BEAT your rival today at 4pm! :)
