Fooled You!

I’m sitting here with cold legs and a runny nose. The boys and I came in from outside a bit ago and umm, I don’t have snow pants. Makes “building a fort” and sledding on our butts a tad chilly! It was fun though. When we came in, they both went up willingly and climbed into bed. The house is so quiet!

Molly had her 4 month well child check today the little peanut. She’s so freaking CUTE! She is pretty much average across the board on height, weight and head circumference. She’s 12 lbs 7 oz now, 24 ½ inches long. She was all smiles and cooing until she was hit with the unsuspecting 4 shots in the legs, poor baby :( She pulled it together pretty quick though and was ready to move on.

Kinda funny, today after we got done eating lunch (Papa was here cause he picked Jack up from school, thanks again Papa!) he told me there was someone in the driveway. I look out and sure enough, it’s a florist. Huh? Flowers for me? Erk?! How nice! The guy walks up to the door and says, “Barb?” Umm, no, that’s the neighbor. SHOOT! So I told him where they live and off he went. Here I thought it was for me, but that’s fine :) Two minutes later he’s in the driveway again. Don’t ya know the neighbor isn’t home so he left them here for ME to deliver to her later. BEAK, not only are they not for me, now I’m a delivery chick!

I’m in the process of signing up for a scrapbook retreat in January. We went last year and had a blast. Although last year I felt like complete poop cause I was just prego with Mol. Can you believe it was one year ago today that I took those 2 pregnancy tests and they were positive? Yep, a year ago I found out there was a little person growing inside of me. What a gift, what a wonder… Amazing what God creates!

I had a great day “off” yesterday. Had lunch with a good friend, got some shopping done, wrapped all the presents up. I even had Erk write out the labels for the boys from Santa so they wouldn’t know my handwriting. Who knows, I may have a few handwriting analysts! You’d be surprised what these boys pick up on :)

The other day when I took Mikie to the doctor for his croup, I was told he has fluid in the ears, mainly the left. As we were leaving and I told him he had fluid in there, he asked, “Don’t I have wax in there Mom?” See, they don’t miss a bit!

Hope you’re having a good one :)
