Priceless

Whew. And can I say it again, wheeeeeeeeeeew. What a morning!

My contacts are dry, my eyeballs are saying "SHUT US NOW" but I'm staying up today - no nap for me. Molly was supposed to eat 10 minutes ago, but with as much as she cried and finally conked, I'm not gonna wake her up. We'll just wait a few more minutes. Deep breath... And I don't even have PMS, it's just one of those days!

We headed out this morning and had 10 places to go. Yep, ten. Before we even left Jack had two timeouts and 2 spanks. That was the way the morning went. I'm not necessarily quick to spank either, but he was really pushing my buttons. I won't get into all that I dealt with - that all of us moms deal with daily - the bickering:
"he spit,"
"no I didn't,"
"he's lying mom, he spit and he's saying he didn't,"
"I didn't spit,"
"yes he did mom,"
"ok I did spit..."
"see mom he spit."

The hauling the double stroller out cause the shops we went to were right in the same vacinity - the one with no handicap ramp so I had to push the stroller up in a snowbank and haul the carseat and all IN the store instead of just leaving it in the stroller.

The boys messing with stuff on GLASS shelves not meant to be touched, let alone "messed with" by little boys.

The long lines.

People not helping me open doors in tight spaces with the double stroller so me having to back it in and out (that thing is a semi!) and people being impatient with me when my front tire gets caught on the door frame cause I'm trying to pull it out AND hold the door open at the same time. Again I say WHEW!

All of that being said, I'm thankful my kids are healthy and I love them to pieces. Sometimes I could scream (like I basically did after they finally all were down for naps and knew better than to get up) but I do love being a mom. And having pictures like this one sent to me from my mother-in-law on a day like today? Priceless :)
