We Live in a Zoo

“There are animals living outside, Mom.” Bean is telling me right now. “Really there are. Deer, turkey, squirrels… Yep, there really are. And would you believe they walk and run in our yard? The nerve! Off in the distance, another one!? Who do they think they are? Can I go outside to chase them?”

Ok, ok, after the first bark, we get it BEAN! In the hallway, in Molly’s room (while she is down for a nap no less), down here in the office window, bark bark bark. What a nut! Just a little while ago I was in the bathroom trying to put some makeup on when I see some black skinny legs cross by the window in the bathroom. What was that? A stray dog? Nope, a big ol’ turkey. Bean sees it from inside and starts barking, scares the crap out of him and off he runs… I quickly tell the boys to come look out the back window and sure enough there are another 4 huge turkey running cause they hear Bean barking too.

Other than the zoo around here with all the animal sightings, things are pretty quiet. We are headed to the gym with our friends today to play in ‘open gym’ then we’ll head for a bite to eat together. Jack’s crazy sounding cough continues but the doc’s office said to try Robitussin DM which really seems to be helping. Mikie has started to cough now too and Mol has a runny nose. So it goes!

In Need of Prayer:
Friends of ours who's unborn baby is having some heart issues.
Erk's cousin and his wife who just had their baby boy Wednesday, he has some birth defects and some organs out of whack. He is undergoing surgery today, please pray for his safety and growth and development, as well as his mommy and daddy and their family during this time.
