Sunday

Good day! Not that ours is the best ever, but it's been funny to think back on it. Funny to hear Molly cry when she should be sleeping... uhh, not really. The boys and Papa are watching a movie we brought down with us (thanks Chet for letting us borrow it) rather than swimming at the pool. Nanny and Papa just went to take the boys to the family pool but were told they couldn't today cause it had reached full capacity. Mom and Dad said it didn't look any more full than yesterday, but the guy who told them it was full was a big turd. It's too bad really, but that's ok.

This morning we ventured off to church. Knowing there was no nursery (just a nursing home, ha, just kidding) I knew it might be "fun" with the kids. Sure enough, Mol was a bit on the vocal side and the boys were loose as a goose. Before church started, the pastor came over to greet us and said what a joy it was to see kids in church. He commented that his grandkids were coming next weekend and ohh, the kids are so cute. The church service began and the pastor stalls and says just a minute, he comes down the side aisle and asks if he can borrow Molly :) So he takes her up front and says "there is black and white, ying and yang, this is young and OLD." It was so funny. From there things went a tad downhill, we had to leave church a few times, on one attempt to re-enter church after a potty break, Jack decided to get ticked at me and throw his arms folded across his chest and scowl at me. I went on ahead into church and he wasn't going to follow - until I got about 1/2 way across the back of church and he ran to me (TICKED) and says rather loudly, "you're a JERK!" I motion him in silence (but my face said a few words all on their own) and a few minutes later we had to leave again cause Mikie was antsy. So I took the 3 kids directly outside into the parking lot. I was yanked, suppose I had too high of expectations for the kids to sit in church (although they have done it before) - but my angst quickly faded when the boys started to pick me flowers... Crazy little dudes.

From there we headed out to brunch where we had to wait and wait. I swear it's youth discrimination down here :) We finally get sat and the boys are just as antsy at the restaurant. Get them fed and all - and Mikie loudly announces he "has to go POOPY mom!" so off to the bathroom we head. With a combo of these little things, I was spent. We got home and I was fortunate to take a snooze for a while. So the kids head to the pool and you all know how that turned out.

Ohh, and I forgot to mention the black water snake that graced us with his presense a while ago on our PATIO. Uhh, snakes and I? We don't really get along! So now I'm a bit reluctant to head out there, but hopefully he won't come back. I hope this finds you having a nice Sunday afternoon!
