Headed Out Again

Good afternoon! It sure is a nice afternoon too – Molly just went down for a nap and the boys are still with Granny and Grampa. They spent the night last night at their house and went to the zoo this morning! What fun! They were so excited to go, then right before we headed over Mikie got a fever, but he still wanted to go for it and that was the only symptom he had. WEIRD! Let’s hope for some healthy days camping! Yep, we are leaving again today, this time for quite a while... our longest yet! We have a nice helper staying here for the 10 days to keep an eye on everything so it feels good to be leaving Bean in good hands.

The trailer is attached to the truck and waiting for me to pull out! Once the boys are home and we sit and visit, we’ll head to Erk’s work (don’t wanna be there before 3p-ish). I hope this finds you having a good week? My week was great, topped off with my computer returned late yesterday complete with all my stuff STILL on it and it’s quicker! Just what I wanted, but you know how these things can go!

Have a wonderful weekend – I’ll try to get on Erk’s laptop while we’re camping to post some of the stuff we are up to. Won’t be able to show pictures though so that bites! It'll be nice to get a laptop some day and be able to have everything on it. Jack’s birthday is Tuesday (he’ll be FIVE!??!?!) and with the 4th, I bet we’ll have some cute pix. So to tide you over, here are some from the past few weeks… :)

Going Unplugged

Hey again, just me! I am going to take my "tower" to get it cleaned out and more memory added. With the digital scrapbook software I have, things have slowed way down, add in that we are going to put Quickbooks on my computer, there is no way it'll work fast enough! So I called a local place and will run it there after Molly wakes up from her morning nap. The boys are both in time out for calling each other names so I have a few minutes to myself :) HA! So when you don't hear anything for 2 days - either email or on here - you know it's cause I'm unplugged! I hope all is well with you and that you have a good week. Take care!
Okey doke Kate! Here are some pictures with me (and Erk) :) Here are some more from the weekend...

Holly helping Mikie bat at our big family baseball game :)

Maybe Mikie needs some help from Daddy?

Way to go Mikie!

Jack opted to do it all on his own...
Well, maybe a LITTLE help from Daddy...

YEAH JACK!

Brianna, isn't she cute?

Mol and I wondering what the beak with the dark clouds?

Soon after we saw the clouds moving in, we all opted to get in our cars and head back to the campsite. Deb had already left so her hubby and 3 kids piled in our truck and we didn't even get to our campsite and it was hailing. The kids thought it was so cool! They hung out under out awning for a bit, then braved the elements and headed to their site. What a memorable trip! So fun, can't wait to be camping again this weekend!

"Been There, Got the T-Shirt" (Our Version)

Ohh and, yeah... I took the boys to VBS last night after they hung out with Grandpa and they lasted only 15 minutes! We got signed in and set in a large room with tons of other kids and they started the program (it should be noted that our somewhat "different" children's director was trying to act like Hannah Montana in a wig and heels and sunglasses). The boys were scared to death and didn't want me to leave! So after getting our "You are a star" t-shirts, we came home.

The showing on our house went well, I think? They were here 30 minutes or so and seemed to know a lot about old houses. We'll have to see... Off to make some breakfast. Molly is still sawing logs, YIPEE :)

This was Bean (IN THE BEGINNING). She was so zoned out I felt terrible for doubling her tranquilizer! But she did well on the car ride to the campground, so if nothing else, it was worth that. Her eyes looked like she was on crack! While I was backing in the trailer with Dad's help, Bean jumped out the truck window. What a nut!

Trailer is all backed in! Time to sit in the shade and relax.

Secret Mikie Man

Deb's girls LOVED having Bean around...
I thought this picture was really cute too

The kids had fun playing at the water spicket

Mouse was hungry when we got settled in!

We had fun playing bball too. I was the pitcher at first and kept telling the boys, “if you knock my teeth out, I’ll knock yours out!”

I'm TIRED Mom!

The girls playing with Mouse
When Bean dog started this "tude" up, we decided to take her home. Even drugged up, she just wasn't comfortable with it. Everyone who walked by, she barked/whined, she can't stand being on a leash so that went over like a fart in church. We opted for what was best for everyone! Took her home and came home a few times daily to say hello and let her do her bizz...

We headed to celebrate Ry's birthday on Saturday nite. Can't believe he is NINE! Here is Megoo with Mouse
