Well, we officially have a sign in our yard - FOR SALE! I put it out (while holding Molly) yesterday afternoon just after 4pm. As I was headed to the front yard, I see a lady from church zoom by (a big issue is our road and people going 60 mph) - not 10 minutes later she calls to make sure I wasn't putting Molly up for sale. She said she'd take her if I was ;)
So I've been anxiously awaiting a call but haven't had any yet. Guess that "3 hours after the sign was in the yard at the old house" rule didn't apply! But it's all good. The house feels more organized and ready to go. We do have painting to do this weekend (the downstairs bath and touching up the cupboards in the kitchen). And the neighborhood we like has now 5 homes for sale at the same price. So here's to hoping! We'll just have to wait and see.
