The "Weekend" Away

I took a shower a bit ago and now I feel clean and relaxed. We got home from a great few nights away, around 3pm and it's seemed to been go-go-go since then. Lemme just say, the "weekend" away - which was actually Sunday afternoon thru today, was the best. All girls, 9 of us including Miss Mol. We had great weather, lots of shopping (which isn't a favorite thing of mine but this kind was fun) and most of all, TONS of laughs. Auntie Jane is so freakin' hilarious! I still laugh at the things she did and said! Especially the 5 of you "caroling" outside our hotel room door near 11pm on Sunday night :) Good times. Here are some pictures from the great weekend away.

Since I've been home, we've been packing up to head out tomorrow morning (early) to head for a campground we have never been to before. It's going to be a week of FUN! Heading to a few different places with our friends. I'm sure I'll have a lot of pix to post after that too! So this here will be my last for a while - but you have a great week and weekend and I'll plug back in with you all next week. Thanks to our house sitter, we can leave Bean and all in wonderful hands again.

A Day on the Lake

Here we are yesterday at the folks. The boys had a RIOT tubing for the very first time!

Mol after her spaghetti at lunch today!

Was Mikie more of a mess after lunch? Good thing we ate "sketti" at lunch with just me, Mikie and Mol. Daddy and Jack don't like it - turns out they went out for lunch today while running errands. Nice!

Then ya have a clean (had to strip down the orange colored clothes) baby!

Looks like I can now add more from the ballpark (they start below) - enjoy!

Busy Few Days

g'day! I hear Mikie in the other room making up sounds for the "boat/plane" he created outta legos. He's so rare. Erk and Jack went to run some errands and Mol is taking a nap. Today is a day of getting the beds in the trailer made, packing the clothes in the trailer (therefore the washer/dryer are non-stop) and doing some house cleaning. Ohh and I need to pack for myself and Miss Mol, as we are headed out for a few days with aunts, cousins and my mom! It'll be great! We are gonna leave from church tomorrow, head a few hours south and enjoy some time shopping. We get home Tuesday afternoon and bright and early Wednesday, we leave for a week long camping trip! See why I'm packing the trailer NOW?!

I'm hoping to upload some pictures this afternoon, Erk took some super cute ones over the course of the week (so I'm actually in some other than me holding the camera away from my face) and Dad took some cute ones yesterday from the boat. The boys went tubing for their first time yesterday! Behind the pontoon, which was ideal cause it gave them a feel for it. Perhaps now they are ready for Uncle Bob's speed boat? We'll have to see :) I told Mikie I'll ride with him when he goes behind UB's!

Night at the Ballpark

Here are some pix of the night we enjoyed at the ballpark! We went early to enjoy some fun stuff on the field - the kids got to hit and run the bases, play catch on the field, and do all sorts of obstacle type courses...

Mike kept throwing the ball to himself

Crap, it won't let me post more pix! Ohh well, maybe later :)

I just unloaded my "old" camera and there were 66 pictures on it! Here are a few...

This was a day when Bean went in the back 40 and got filthy not once, not twice, but three times!

Took the Roof Off

Believe it or not, Mikie fell asleep in that fort last night! Right in the dining room on the hard floor. Cracked me up. Jack came and told me "I'm not really tired, Mom" as his eyes were sinking deeper and deeper. I told him he probably wasn't comfortable in the fort and would fall asleep quick if he went and climbed into bed. So he did - and I came down, took the roof off the fort (mean Mom) and scooped Mikie up and put him in his bed. Sure he would have slept for a while, but who's to say what would have happened when he got up in the night to pee and wondered what all those blankets were doing hovering over him and didn't know where the beak he was! I sat up for a while and watched tv, then turned the lights out just before Erk pulled in the driveway. He was at a concert and got home at a decent hour actually.

Today I've been sorting thru all sorts of things, just added a few "points" to my speech write up for tonight and I hope I'm all set!? It'll be fun to show even more people what this whole thing is that we're starting up, and even more fun to watch people's faces as they see the Storybook Plus software from Creative Memories and how awesome it is!

I hope you have a nice afternoon -

Brotherly Love

Not sure if I shared these before? But Jack and Mol are good buds. Jack really takes time out and pays a lot of attention to Mol. She'll look over at him and wait til he notices. It's really cute. Mikie is a big fan too, but there is something about Jack and Mol...
Here I sit with the boys right around the corner, attempting to sleep in a fort we made this afternoon. They heard Chet and Ivan had built one, which we then went to their house to see, and so they had to make one too :) So we did and they were insistant that they can sleep in there all night. We'll see! That laminate wood flooring is not quite worth a night of my sleep, but what the heck?

I've been trying to monkey with some web site stuff tonight but couldn't figure it out so I emailed the expert dude. Once we know how to fix these minor things on our end, and they get working on the major things - maybe it won't be long! Shawna and I are totally not in a rush right now, we just want the freaking web site to be RIGHT. The time frame will be nice to have (hopefully tomorrow or the next day we'll get a time frame) but just get 'er dun and dun right...

Along those lines, our "training" gig is tomorrow night so it's fun to think about that. Shawna and I will get all decked out and be in "work mode." It'll be fun, May 20th met with a nice group and good first time, so here's to hoping the second time is a charm as well.

Good night all -
