Before we knew it, it was time to head for Granny and Grampa’s house for the evening. Jack wasn’t going though, not at first, cause he was coming along with Erk and me to his DK open house at school. I had told Jack that it would be our “secret” to keep that we were gonna stop by a park after we dropped Mikie and Molly off. I packed us a picnic and Daddy would meet us. Jack kept tight lipped about it (mainly cause I didn’t want Mikie’s feelings hurt) and when I brought it up at Granny’s, he played dumb on it. My man :) So we headed to a nearby park and he and I talked and swung until Erk got there. Spending some time with just the ‘little but all of a sudden big, serious, not overly talkative dude’ was priceless. Erk got there and we ate pb&j and chips, and headed for Jack’s school.
