Call Me Ray Charles

Burr, it's getting chilly out there. Fall is here and winter is certainly on its way. But that's how it should be, it's November! :) I headed a few places this morning - Papa was here bright and early to give me a hand while I ran to the eye doc. Here I just wanted to know if my prescription had changed so I can replace these ugly glasses I wear every day, but they ended up doing a full eye exam, to include dilating my eyeballs and giving me HUGE pupils! I left there with Ray Charles shades that slid right onto my glasses. Was it right that I drove away from there? I guess, they didn't tell me not to! Glad I didn't get pulled over, they woulda thought I was smokin' doobies :)

I then headed out to my pal Sarah's house to meet her new baby girl, Maggie. ADORABLE! We had a great time visiting (as always!) and now I'm home and all 3 munckins are napping. A beautiful thing I tell ya. Looking forward to some family time tonight before we head outta town tomorrow right after Jack's preschool. My folks, the kids and I are headed to watch Molly's team as they continue on to the next round for volleyball. It'll be nice to have a change in scenery the next few days and stay in a hotel.
